THE APOCALYPSE IS CLOSE AT HAND…
Sports Illustrated used to have this little blurb in each issue called Sign of the Apocalypse, or something like that. Maybe they still do? Who cares.
After reading what I read over the past 24 hours or so, I am firmly convinced that THE APOCALYPSE IS CLOSE AT HAND…
No, this has nothing to do with Teabagging or taxes or politics of any kind.
It has to do with how fu@#cked up our society has become.

Breaking News?
This is sad, really. A sad indictment on how screwed up we’ve become. Up is down. Left is Right. (ok, bad example).
But Breaking News? C’mon people. Breaking News is meant for just that… News that is Breaking! Important stuff! I’m all for Social Media and all that but, don’t label a missive Breaking News then tell me something that’s anything but news, let alone breaking.
You know, this is akin to back in the days when AMC (the TV Channel) was known as American Movie Classics and they used to show movies like Weekend at Bernie’s II.
And my first thought was ‘this is a classic? Um, ok. Well it must be if it’s on the American Movie Classics channel.’
Think it’s a coincidence they now go by AMC?
NURSE, SCAPEL… NURSE! WHERE THE HELL YOU GOIN?!…
Want more proof of how our world is going to hell in a hand basket? BTW, what the hell does that mean?
Anyway…
Seems a patient was in a Wisconsin Clinic the other day for minor surgery when the surgical team was suddenly short one nurse.
Why?
Because she was pulled out of the operating room to be told she was being laid off!
Yeah, right in the middle of operation, a nurse was summoned to be informed her services were no longer needed.
Tell that to the patient!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!!
‘We’re sorry Mr. Jones, but your surgery will have to be rescheduled because we had to lay off a nurse in the middle of your operation. And no, we could not wait until after your surgery to do this, that would have cost us more money as our staff is paid per procedure. We hope you understand and apologize for any inconvenience. Please get dressed and have a nice day.’
A spokesman for the clinic said the absence of a nurse is a violation of patient care procedures.
REALLY??!! YOU THINK??!!!
Calgon take me away!!
